Michael Ninn Review

Michael Ninn is an award-winning hardcore porn director. In fact, he is said to be AVN's most awarded director. It's obvious from the tour pages that he has shot some of the sexiest stars in the business and judging by the presentation of his features, this site is looking to be right up my alley.

The members' area mirrors the tour page, so there aren't any surprises. You can search a list of models, the most recent video is profiled front and centre and below the feature is a menu of content areas. As it turns out, these links jump you to content that is already on this page. From here you can click the video items and you're taken to a new page with this video. There are also a handful of photos. I chose a movie starring Jennifer Dark and on the video page there is a further list of all scenes that Jennifer appears in on MichaelNinn.com. In all honesty, while I loved the overall design of the site, I found navigating to be a little confusing at first.

There are eight main areas to this site and each area is filled with videos, as well as some accompanying pictures. Also, each area focuses on a different porn theme and in some instances there is a definite shift in the film styles. The different sections include neo-pornographia, features, Euroglam, fetish, innocence, fem, on-set and solo erotica. In total, there appears to be 979 or more videos.

Updates come in every few days, which, considering the talent and sheer production quality of the content, is amazing news. Lately, a lot of the updates have focused on solo model and features, but for every 10 of these types of updates, there are updates in the other sections. I also noticed some special holiday flicks and these seem to be categorized in the features section.

There are roughly 15 preview pictures per video. You can click an image to enlarge it and then a slideshow will automatically begin to play, so you'll need to pause the show to linger on any one image. Also, you can download a Zip file of a more complete set and these files contain roughly 250 pictures that are 1500x996 each. While I was able to download many sets, I had some trouble with the features photos. Full set downloads didn't seem to exist.

Video lengths depend on the theme. Solo erotica movies hovered around 10 minutes, fetish movies averaged 15 minutes and features were anywhere from 30 to 50 minutes. There is an imbedded stream that you can view online and downloads include three MP4 quality options including 1440x1080 HD. The HD additions seem to be new and there are older videos that only offer one MP4 download at a lower quality. Nevertheless, the films are deliciously sharp and you couldn't ask for better production values.

Final Verdict

Michael Ninn has a fantastic site with a wide range of niches and so much content that if you become a member then you aren't likely to go anywhere for a while. The productions are absolutely fabulous, the models are mouth-watering and with a range of themes and film styles, you always feel like you're getting something new rather than the same old. I initially found navigating the site to be confusing, but once I got used to it, I didn't have much of a problem. In the end the advantages of this site far outweigh disadvantages. If you love glamour solo, lesbian, fetish and hardcore, then you'll likely fall in love with Michael Ninn.
